Today I added more trees and shrubs in the middle of the painting, obscuring more of the river portion. Shadows were added at the base of the trees.
Further enhancements on the list include the addition of smaller branches in the upper half of the landscape, upon which I will add leaves (a few have been placed already, in the upper right portion of the landscape.
