I enjoy the oranges, reds and greens of medieval Italy! Here is the current version or Ravello.
Working those greens, blues, purples, reds, oranges and the bright sunlight and shady contrasts of this scene in Ravello. The perch from which the reference photo was taken is from the edge of the main town square. There were several black cats meandering among the tourists (they received some fine crusty bread treats from us travelers)!
What appeals to me in this scene is the briliance of the mid-day color and the contrasts with shady areas. Although I tend to favor early and late daylight scenes, this midday scene presents a refreshing change.
